Strong, light and durable wheels with quality components hand built in Bristol. We use the new DT Swiss 240 hubs and the strong and dependable DT Swiss GR531 rim. We bring both these components together using DT Swiss Competition double butted spokes and Prolock brass nipples. These wheels are set up tubeless ready with DT Swiss tubeless rim tape.

With all of our wheels they are hand built to a high standard within 0.2mm lateral and 0.5mm radial tolerances.

Hubs - New DT Swiss 240

• In 1994 DT Swiss launched the original Hügi ratchet rear hub, a marvel of Swiss precision engineering that set new standards for reliability and quality in the industry
• DT's twin-ratchet 240 is now an established gold standard for lightweight and reliable rear hubs but time doesn't stand still and with 25 years of research, development and production experience behind them, it was time for DT Swiss's engineers to look again at the technology DT pioneered so many years ago
• The result is the new generation of 240 hubs with Ratchet EXP, an even more refined and evolved ratchet system, by moving the drive-side hub bearing inside the inner 36 tooth ratchet itself, DT have decreased the number of moving parts whilst giving the bearings a wider stance
• The result is a hub that is even more reliable and up to 20% lighter than the previous generation 240 and stiffer to boot with improved bearing alignment and long term durability, truly the finest hubs DT have ever made
• The extensively machined hub shell, axle and end caps contribute to make these the lightest 240 hubs yet with no reduction in performance or long term durability
• As with previous generations, the Ratchet EXP system is designed around a No-Tool system making servicing simple, further aided by new easy to remove, machined end caps
• Custom made DT steel bearings offer the same near legendary long term durability and ease of replacement that the 240 has always been known for
• Weights start at just 294 grams a pair

Rims - DT Swiss GR531 DB

• Freed from UCI regulation, the DT Swiss Gravel range was free to go as wide as DT's test data suggested, after extensive testing of different tyre profiles and rim shapes, DT engineers have settled on a full 24 mm as the perfect width for modern Gravel bikes
• The added width gives better support to wide, 35c or larger tyres, allowing the use of lower pressures, enhancing grip and comfort whilst reducing rolling resistance and tyre flex under cornering
• A substantial 130 KG weight limit means these rims can be used for bike packing or light touring
• Need a rim for cyclocross racing or just something a bit less specific? Check out the RR 481 Cross Road, which is fully UCI compliant and a great option for 30-35c tyres
• Whilst primarily designed for tubeless use, the GR 531 can also easily be used with standard clinchers and tubes
• Unlike the lightweight XC mountain bike rims that have been used as impromptu gravel rims in the past these are proper road rims and designed to handle higher pressures safely
