Shimano's Dura Ace R9200 Di2 rim brake groupset is the pinnacle of the brand's road technology, engineered for speed, smooth operation and sleek aesthetics. In this latest edition there are a number of changes including better ergonomics in the shifter for improved functionality and comfort in all hand position, faster shifting and, of course, the additional 12th sprocket.

The longer cage derailleur length means that compatibility with 11-28 to 11-34 cassettes is fully supported. A carbon cage increases rigidity and lowers weight, while the corrosion-resistant cold-forges aluminium link plates of the derailleur body are strong and donate snappy gear changes.

Hyperglide+ technology in the sprockets and chain mean that the two mesh better, essentially improving shifting under load, across the cassette.
