What should you expect when using Velo Works 

We are a small family run business where we put our customers at the heart of what we do. We have built Velo Works from the ground up and we are immensely proud of what we do and we want to continue serving our customers year on year.

Being small means you get a personalised service and you talk directly to Paul who services and looks after your bike. Booking is easy with booking forms being available on the workshop page

If you are or become a regular customer we give you priority access to our workshop. We always leave space in the workshop diary for regular customers because they support us as much as we support them. We build strong relationships with our regular customers and we understand how important their bikes are to them so if you use us solely for your repairs and servicing you will be well looked after.

Pricing 

Our pricing structure is completely transparent and you can see a full list of prices on our workshop page. At every stage of repairing  a bike we keep customers fully informed of estimates and any increase in cost is communicated fully. 

All the parts and accessories we supply are sold at the recommended retail price (RRP). These means that when comparing the products we sell to online discounters our prices tend to be more expensive. 

Why? we hear you ask.

Our business model is completely different to companies who sell discounted cycling products. We rely on making money from both our products and servicing to make the profit we need to run the business. Profit is not a dirty word as it enables us to constantly improve our business to enable customers to have a better experience. As a small business we have many hidden costs including insurances, fuel, utilities and once all these are paid we give ourselves a modest wage. 

We stand behind all of the products we sell and the services we provide. By purchasing parts through us you are fully supported and if you have any warranty issues with the products we provide we will replace or repair any items with minimal fuss to you as a customer. Some of the products in the cycling industry carry up to a 3 year warranty. We look after you throughout the whole warranty period and we deal with the warranty process for you.

If you require us to fit parts purchased from third parties there will be a small charge for fitting these parts and this price will be given to you before commencing work.

Guarantee/warranty

Every service we provide and product we sell comes with a guarantee/warranty. We will always look after you to the best of our ability if you purchase a product or service from us. We are not in the business of alienating customers and you can be rest assured we will look after you 100%.
